THE DANGER THAT EARTHQUAKES POSE.
VERY SUDDEN AND DISASTROUS ON MAN AND ENVIRONMENT.CAUSES HUGE FINANCIAL EXPENDITURE WHICH CANNOT BE KNOWN BEFORE TIME.VULNERABLE PEOPLE ARE FURTHER EXPLOITED IN SUCH SITUATIONS AS IN HAITI.
Pros: -change the anatomy of places on earth.
-victims receive support and sympathy from all and sundry.
-the country or area becomes well known and studied by many who move in to give help.
-appeals for international sympathy and support.
Cons: -destruction of human and economic infrastructure on a large scale requiring huge financial cost to rebuild.
-human loses are often huge and painful
-brings about unnecessary hardship and even crime .
